Data Analyst (11-month contract)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Employee Benefits insurance claims performance and provide statistical insights to stakeholders
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation of premium and claims data
• Streamline and automate internal and regulatory data reporting
• Validate the data quality of premium and claims bordereaux from clients for reinsurance arrangements
• Perform experience study and assumption review and maintain data inventory
• Communicate clearly with other teams to ensure business objectives are met
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder, major in Mathematics / Statistics preferable
• A minimum of 1 year experience in insurance industry
• Solid understanding of insurance products and reinsurance preferable
• Details oriented with great time management and prioritization skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain a detailed-oriented quality mindset 
• Solid experience using MS Excel and programming languages, preferably in Python, R and SQL
• Good command of spoken and written English
