Assistant Settlement Officer / Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to Settlement Manager, you will be worked in the Clearing Centre and will provide support to the department across the group businesses.
• Manage settlement operations for local and global markets, ensuring efficient processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate transaction settlements.
• Develop and implement robust settlement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve settlement discrepancies promptly and provide guidance to team members when needed.
• Assist on ad hoc projects and assignments.

Requirements:

• Tertiary educated or above;
• Minimum 5 years experiences in the Settlement of HK market /Future / Stock Option and Custody/Nominees service is desirable;
• Familiar with the operation of CCASS / DCASS / ET-Trade /Ayers system or have exposure to other prevailing E-Settlement platform; 
• Knowledge in local regulatory and compliance guidelines in relation to settlement issues is advantageous;
• Overtime work is required;
• Detail-minded, eager to learn and CS oriented;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Team player who is able to drive changes proactively;
• Proficiency in Cantonese and English with knowledge in Mandarin a plus;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Officer / Assistant Manager.
