Vice President (Assurance), Financial Crime Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Head of Financial Crime Compliance, the incumbent will support the head in leading a team to formulate the Bank’s anti-financial crime related quality assurance program and conduct AML compliance review
• Conduct risk-based and effective assurance to ensure the Bank’s KYC/CDD implementation, anti-financial crime measures and control comply to the Bank and regulatory requirement by conducting on-site/off-site review, and provide recommendation as necessary
• Conduct thematic review regarding the recommendations made by internal / external audit and regulators
• Liaise with various parties in relation to anti-financial crime compliance projects and regulator’s on-site examination
• Coordinate and review FCC related training materials and provide bank-wide FCC related training
• Handle enquiries from relevant internal / external stakeholders
• Handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Law or related discipline
• Holder of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Professional (CAMLP) by HKIB under ECF on AML/CFT
• Holder of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) by ACAMS or other relevant qualifications issued by reputable international organization is preferred
• Minimum 10 years’ working experience in banking or professional consulting firm with team management and project management exposure related to AML and anti-financial crime related areas
• Strong anti-financial crime knowledge with open-minded to collaborate with different stakeholders
• Well familiar with financial products, policies and procedures related to retail and corporate banking
• Strong project management and team management ability
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, independent and able to work under tight schedule
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
