DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the Chief Steward and replacing the Chief Steward in case of absence.
- Coordinating and overseeing all activities within the Stewarding department.
- Training and motivating team members within the Stewarding department.
- Assigning tasks and giving instructions.
- Supervise the progression and quality of all activities within the Stewarding department.
- Working according to hotel regulations with regards to health, safety and hygiene.
- Reporting all situations which are considered to be a health or safety hazard.
- Updating cleaning procedures for cleaning processes.
- Develop training manuals for the effective and efficient operation.
- Conducting performance evaluations for Stewarding employees, in conjunction with the Chief Steward.
- Attending weekly F&B meetings.
- Handle administrative work and update files.
- Regularly organize stock take and keep efficient stock.
- Maintenance of health, safety and hygiene in all F&B areas.
- Any other relevant projects and duties as assigned by superior.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Higher Diploma or above in Hotel Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 3-year relevant working experience in hotel industry
- Mature, independent, self-motivated, well organized and detail-minded
- Excellent in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Good motivating skills
- Service minded A flexible work attitude
