Part Time Learn-to-swim Programme Instructor

Responsibilities
The part-time programme instructors will be responsible to guide Learn to swim programmes, especially summer workshop in Ocean Park and Parent-child Programme in Water World to all levels of students. The incumbent will support the daily operations and programme development of Discovery and Education Deapartment as well. He/She should have strong knowledge on water safety to support the programme.

Requirement

• DSE/HKAL or above, with interest and background of Education, Sport Science, Tourism, Environmental or related disciplines
• Able to swim
• Holder of Bronze Medallion (or higher level) issued by the Hong Kong Life Saving Society (HKLSS) is preferred
• Holder of "Swimming Teacher's Certificate" issued by the Hong Kong China Swimming Association, "Level 1 Coaches Certificate" issued by the HK Swimming Coaches Association, "Swimming Teachers' Certificate" issued by the Swimming Teachers' Association (HK) or other swimming instructor certification from internationally recognized institution is an advantage
• Working experience in education, sport coaching or related fields is an advantage
• Passionate in promoting water safety and conservation education
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Willing to work outdoor and in-water, and on weekends and during public holidays
