Job Purpose
To provide a memorable customer shopping experience, while processing sales transactions and resolving front line customer related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Balance registers and maintain accurate records of all transactions
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Assist with store opening/closing procedures
- Assist with gift wrapping customer merchandise to ensure timely service is provided
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of related customer service/cashier experience, preferably within the luxury retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail oriented, customer service oriented and highly organized.
- Ability to multi task and work within a team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, co-workers and management.
