Assistant Vice President, Business Strategy

Responsibilities:

Support management to formulate and implement annual business plan to align with the Bank's strategy
Collaborate with key stakeholders across internal and external parties and Head Office to drive new strategic initiatives and projects
Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives and KPIs, provide ongoing analysis of resource utilization and business performance and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and client portfolio to identify growth opportunities and threats
Conduct regular review of the bank’s corporate governance frameworks and policies
Prepare management reports and presentations, including but not limited to resource utilization and business performance metrics
Coordinate business events and projects as and when needed

Ideal candidates should possess:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
At least 6 years’ relevant business management and planning experience, preferably in Corporate Banking business
Good understanding of Greater China development, cross-border business and regulations
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with different stakeholders
Excellent presentation and project management skills
Strong PC skills, proficient in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing is a must
Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English
