Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations, this position works closely with headquarter finance and Director, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations to support corporate finance matters, investor relations and group strategy. He/she will work closely with the external banks/investors, assist in deal evaluation and conduct market research and external benchmarking to provide insights to management for business decisions.

What you’ll be doing:

The key aspects of the role include (but not limited to) proactively working with business in various countries and headquarter Finance:

Corporate Finance

• Support from the origination until draw down on all corporate financing transactions
• Support in conducting financial model of the Company
• Focus on transactions generated by Commercial / Business Development team e.g.: M&A deals or major commercial deals / signings
• Support in Due Diligence work and accounting treatment, financial risk and implications
• Evaluate the investments with presentation to the relevant stakeholders

Bank and Investor Relations

• Monitor the capital and debt status of the Group and ensure all financial covenants are in compliance
• Assist to build bank/investor relations materials including presentations and board meetings.
• Provide administrative support to senior management as needed, including preparing reports and presentations.

Research and Analysis

• Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Support on providing value-added analyses and recommendations on business decisions.
• Support in group strategy projects including undertaking research, financial analysis, financial modelling, creation of presentation materials, due diligence, contractual negotiation, liaison with key stakeholders, and relevant documentation, etc.
• Carry on ad-hoc and special analyses as needed

About You:

• Certified Financial Analyst, degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Candidate with exposure in strategy, financial analysis would be an advantage.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communicator: communication and interpersonal skills
• Versatile with energy and passion to drive to make a difference
• Ability to think strategically and commercially
• Strong analytical skills with sound commercial, business acumen and attention to details
• Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, multi-tasks, hands-on and attention to important details
• Self-motivated
• Team player with ability to maintain great relationships with all business units
• Fluent in spoken and written in English. Cantonese and Mandarin language competencies would be an advantage.
