Head of Secured Lending Credit Risk

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement credit risk policies, procedures, and frameworks for secured lending products in margin financing and wealth portfolio lending.
• Assess and manage credit risks associated with margin financing and wealth portfolio lending activities.
• Formulate underwriting criteria and prepare user requirements for IT development.
• Monitor and analyze loan ratios, credit exposure and portfolio performance to ensure compliance with risk management guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize credit risk strategies and enhance risk mitigation measures.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements related to credit risk management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in credit risk management, specifically within margin financing and wealth portfolio lending.
• Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound credit decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing a team of credit risk professionals.
• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
