Quality Assurance and Insurance Operational Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive business analysis reports with datadriven insights to optimize sales funnel and campaign performance and enhance existing propositions; 
  • Have a clear and strong understanding of customer needs, market trends, business value and digital technologies and defines a digital strategy that take these into consideration; and
  • Ensure all administrative and compliance processes are observed as to timeliness, quality, regulation and procedure; 
  • Ensure all program/projects are adhered to banking practice, compliance, risk and regulatory requirement; 
  • Assist management to execute and monitor controls in bancassurance business sector, including the sales activities and operational framework; 
  • Ensure strict compliance with all legislation and guideline pertaining to products and providers, and establish robust controls and procedures; 
  • Develop, review and monitor internal policies and procedures for the sales of insurance products in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements with respect to the insurance agency business; 
  • Review and monitor the selling and distribution processes of insurance policies;
  • Handle operational risk events and incidents and perform root cause and impact analysis and determine action plans to address the issues. Report the operational risk events and incidents to Legal and Compliance Department; 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align experiences across digital platforms, ensuring that features are executed in line with design principles, regulatory standards and customer experience objectives, but does not lose sight of profitability and productivity; 
  • Develop various project documentation to stakeholders (e.g. Project plan, status report, implementation checkpoints); 
  • Supporting the delivery production line (development, testing and implementation) ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers; and
  • Provide training and assistance to frontline staff in key matters related to sales and operational procedures; and
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate the logistics and workflow to enhance sales efficiency.

Requirements:

  • University degree holder with 10 years life insurance working experience in banking industry/ insurance distribution or banking related consultancy is preferred; 
  • Sound knowledge of the supervisory framework and regulations of Hong Kong banking insurance market;
  • Indepth knowledge of digital platform, life operation, insurance products and regulatory requirements in bancassurance;
  • Good Project management and Business analysis skills.
