Purpose of the Position/ Job Summary
Responsible for managing and carrying out General Audit function of Airstar Bank Limited (the Bank) to ensure that the governance and risk control framework and bank operations are in accordance with regulations, codes, policies, procedures and standards; and providing reliable and independent assessments of the quality and effectiveness of the Bank’s internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and conduct business, compliance and risk management audits from planning to reporting, tracking and closing of audit issues;

Plan and execute risk assessment, internal audit, data analysis and testing of internal control as an individual contributor or a team member;

Evaluate related control risk and procedures to assess any internal control deficiencies;

Actively tracking of the audit finding issues;

Assist in the preparation of information submission to regulators and external assessors and reporting packages to Audit Committee or senior management;

Support the review and updating of audit policies and procedures for continuous improvement;

Handle Ad-hoc assignment when required.
Job Specifications
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
-
In-depth knowledge of internal auditing, regulatory requirements (HKMA and SFC), risk management, finance, banking products and operations in relation to licensed banks in Hong Kong

Experience in managing general audits and integrated audits, with up-to-date knowledge and audit approach to audit areas such as retail and corporate Banking, securities business, mobile banking, risk management, AML/CFT, Code of Banking Practice, Deposit Protection Scheme, and other general compliance areas, etc.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)

Good integrity and conduct standards, adhere to the Bank’s core values and policies
Academic and Professional Qualifications

Degree holder preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or related disciplines, and preferably have professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA, ACAMS, AAMLP, FRM or other Enhanced Competence Framework qualifications.
Training and Relevant Experiences

Minimum 5 years internal audit or external audit experience

Previous exposure in retail and corporate banking, wealth management business, compliance, risk management; knowledge in data analytics, IT controls and technical risk management exposure, or external audit experience will be an advantage.
