Junior Legal Counsel

Job Responsibilities

• Support Head of Legal Counsel in the drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts and agreements
• Support business units in products and business initiatives and provide relevant legal advice
• Work closely with Regulatory Compliance Team regarding materials and day-to-day activities to ensure compliant with the banking related legislation and guidelines
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

University degree in Law

• 1-3 years’ PQE, preferably with in-house experience in banking and/or asset management and/or Fintech industry
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of related legislation and guidelines relevant to banking operations, products and services
• Ability to adopt to new business initiatives
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua preferred
