Senior Manager Business Continuity Management - General Account & Operations

Responsibilities
Assist the Internal Control Officer/ Division Head in managing the business continuity operations such as but not limited to:
Conduct review on the Bank’s BCP framework and make recommendations for improvement where deemed necessary;
Evaluate the sufficiency and effectiveness of the BCP for each business/operating/product units and to make recommendations for improvement.
Take the lead in managing the day-to-day BCP administration which include but not limited to regular BCP drill exercises; co-ordination with regulators on supervisory review etc.
Co-ordinate relevant parties when Command Centre has been activated in order to deal with crisis/incident effectively.
Participate and support the timely implementation of operational resilience framework, complying regulatory requirement of regulators.
Effectively manage cost that may incur for the purpose of business continuity preparation.
Lead in process of business continuity planning and implemenation
Ensure the business continuity plan for each of the operating units are effective
Lead and manage the departmental Business Recovery Officers (“BRO”) and Deputy Business Recovery Officers (“DBRO”) in achieving business continuity.
Comply with all applicable regulations, rules codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
Requirements
University Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration or Economics;
Holder of Professional Qualifications as awarded by Disaster Recovery Institute International, US (the CBCP or CBCA); or the Business Continuity Institute, UK (the MBCI); or the Institute of Risk Management, UK (the CIRM) would be an advantage;
At least 5 years of working experience in Business Continuity area gained in financial institutions and/or consultancy firms;
Strong interpersonal, communication and management skills;
Mature, self-motivated, organized and able to work under pressure;
Relevant HKIB Qualification is an advantage
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience may be considered as a Manager
