Primary Purpose
To partner with the Store Manager to maximize store productivity and profitability, ensuring compliance with all Coach standards. It is the role of the Assistant Store Manager to support the Coach Service environment by consistently making decisions that enhance the customer’s experience in the store and with the brand. He/ She assists in planning sales goals and work closely with the Store Manager to evaluate market information that can impact store performance.
Key Responsibilities
Driving Sales
- Achieve store sale target and KPIs
- Strategize and take action upon daily, weekly and monthly sale performance
- Lead team member to achieve sales target
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of Coach products and excel in selling skills personally and for team
- Create a high energy, sales and customer-focused environment
Customer Service
- Understand and embrace Coach hosting mindset
- Be a role model and lead the team to provide elevated customer experience
- Act as a Lead Host/Service Leader
- Evaluation the execution of Lead Host/ Service Leader to ensure consistency at all times
- Ensure the team to provide excellence Coach Services to customers
Leadership
- Delegate and follow-up to ensure key issues are addressed
- Manage assigned projects and in-store team
- Provide appropriate, specific and timely feedback to team
- In-charge of shift management, zoning and key metrics analysis
- Develop strategic in-store sales plan and goals
- Ensure that the team understand the visions and culture of the Company
People Development
- Motivate others to achieve results
- Identify potentials, performance gaps and provide people development plan
- Understand the strengths and opportunities of each team member and designate a development plan for each team member
- Deliver on boarding to new hires and in-store trainings to team
- Inspire team members to achieve and exceed expectations
Strategic Planning
- Effectively prioritizes business needs
- Anticipate potential obstacles or issues and develop solutions to overcome
Operations
- Read, understand and comply with all Coach policies and practices, and maintain standards of procedure in the following key areas:
- Safety & loss prevention
- Merchandise handling and presentation
- Housekeeping and store upkeep
- Cash wrap procedures
- Stockroom work
Requirements
- 4+ years store management experience in retail operations preferably in fashion or luxury fields
- Higher Diploma holder or above
- Good analytical skills and strong business acumen
- Self-motivated, customer-focused and task-oriented
- Able to work under pressure and positive to chasing sales targets
- Good command of spoken Cantonese, Mandarin and English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Store Supervisor
