Reservations Supervisor / Assistant Reservations Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Reservations Department to maximize revenue, efficiency and productivity
• Implement room inventory control & selling strategies from Director of Revenue Management / Reservations Sales Manager
• Ensure all kind of reservations requests, amendments and cancellations for different profiles are entered in PMS timely
• Handle reservations, enquiries, answer emails and phone calls by providing excellent and professional service
• Handle guest’s comments and complaints in related to Reservations issue effectively
• Act as in-charge during weekend or public holiday and adjust rates according to room situation and suggestions from Revenue Team and Revenue Management System
• Conduct on-the-job training of job tasks and service skills to newly joined Reservations team members

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• Higher Diploma or above in Hotel Management or related discipline
• Minimum 3 year relevant experience in hospitality industry
• Knowledge of hotel reservations practice, standards and procedures
• Proficiency in Computer Operation and knowledge in MS Office
• Sound knowledge of property management system with experience in using ‘Shiji-SEP‘ preferably
• A good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Reservations Supervisor
