Job Summary

To support the smooth daily operation of the Hair Salon by delivering basic nail treatments, assisting with hair-washing services, preparing service areas, and maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform basic nail treatments, including manicure and pedicure services, in accordance with established service and hygiene standards.
• Welcome and prepare guests for nail and hair services in a warm, professional, and attentive manner.
• Shampoo, rinse, and condition guests’ hair, including appropriate scalp care, in preparation for services performed by the hairstylists.
• Prepare, clean, and reset hair-washing stations, nail stations, treatment areas, tools, and equipment before and after each guest.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the Hair Salon throughout the day, including workstations, floors, counters, storage areas, and guest-facing areas.
• Ensure towels, capes, amenities, products, and supplies are replenished and properly organized.
• Follow all required sanitation, disinfection, health, safety, and hygiene procedures for tools, equipment, and service areas.
• Assist the Salon Manager and hairstylists with general salon preparation and operational support as required.
• Monitor salon supplies and advise the Salon Manager when replenishment is required.
• Maintain a polished personal presentation and consistently provide gracious, discreet, and professional guest service.
• Carry out other reasonable salon-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a hair salon, nail salon, spa, or luxury hospitality environment preferred.
• Practical skills in basic manicure and pedicure services and hair washing.
• Strong awareness of hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Guest-focused attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-groomed, organized, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirements.
