Assistant Manager/Manager – Accounting (Investment Oper.) (6 months contract)

Summary

• Support the AR and AP reconciliation for clear up the aging record with 3-6 months
• Assist on any ad hoc tasks being assign by senior management
• Assist on work out the reconciliation logic (if required)

Responsibilities:

• Take initiation on assisting to communicate with SZIT on data extraction.
• After data extraction to perform manual reconciliation and identify the break for investigation.
• Assist seniors to communicate with Business Owner and Financial department working out the clear up solution
• Perform duties as assigned by senior
• Assist to work out and write the reconciliation logic as user requirement.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in accounting or related disciplines
• CPA under study or holder is an advantage
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant banking accounting experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
• Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills
• Familiar with the regulatory requirements (i.e. HKMA & SFC) & markets practices
• Language: Proficiency in written English and Chinese ; Proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese & Putonghua
• Computer: VBA, Macro or AI, Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing skills
