Fund Operations Manager - BEA (Trustee) Ltd

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation transactions for Unit Trust funds and  ORSO schemes
• Oversee compliance checking on the permissibility of newly invested securities according to MPFA and SFC regulations
• Monitor the compliance matters related to the operations of trust business
• Monitor and regularly update and review CRS/AEOI/FATCA procedures and guidelines
• Manage the settlement of global equities and fixed income securities
• Monitor corporate action events processing
• Monitor the investment portfolio including reconciliation of securities holdings and investment pricing of Unit Trust funds
• Review Financial statements for Unit Trust business
• Review monthly members’ contributions/redemptions and entitlement for ORSO schemes
• Ensure the members’ records are kept updated for ORSO schemes
• Review members’ annual statements and ensure the annual returns and financial statements for ORSO schemes are submitted to MPFA on time

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
• Preferable over 5 years’ experience in fund operations 
• Knowledge of MPF investment regulations or SFC Code
• Recognition of RA 13 license is an advantage. HKIB qualification is also advantageous
• Sound knowledge in trust administration, operational procedures and internal controls
• Solid understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements including KYC, CDD, CRS, AEOI and FATCA would be a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
