Account Opening and Servicing Officer - Securities Services

Responsibilities

• Ensure all account administration processes are conducted accurately, efficiently and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service requests professionally and promptly.
• Review account documentation and perform due diligence checks to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Monitor operational workflows and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Operations, Risk Management and Technology teams to facilitate smooth service delivery.
• Support and implement process improvement initiatives and digital transformation projects.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as delegated by management.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications such as HKSI, CFA, CPA, FRM or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination or Hong Kong Securities Institute Licencing Examinations is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of securities products, operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with SFC, HKEX and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Proven experience in reviewing account opening documentation and performing customer due diligence.
• Knowledge of VBA, Power BI, automation tools or process improvement methodologies will be an advantage
• HKIB related qualifcation will be an advantage.
