We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Investment and Insurance Specialist, Corporate Banking.

Principal responsibilities

• Drive Investment & Insurance (I&I) sales and cross-selling within the BBC Mass segment in partnership with BBC PMs and achieve the BBC Centre’s business targets
• Increase the penetration of digital investment platforms and insurance products among BBC Centre’s existing customer base.
• Accelerate customer acquisition and servicing through digital platforms by encouraging online investment engagement, activating investment services for ETB customers and promoting new digital investment account openings.
• Develop the China Nexus segment, particularly non WEM Mainland Chinese customers, by identifying and converting opportunities related to their investment, insurance and broader wealth-management needs.
• Provide client training to encourage customers to trade and transact online via the mobile banking app and e-banking website, thereby increasing the adoption of self-directed digital investment service (DIY).
• Provide I&I training and preparing coaching materials to BBC PMs in identifying and refering potential customers effectively
• Identify and refer HNW prospective customers to CWM / BBD RMs for further engagement and relationship building.
• Ensure that all investment, insurance, onboarding, sales and promotional activities comply with applicable KYC, suitability, conduct, risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines with proven relevant working experience
• Good knowledge of investment products and strong technical competency with good knowledge of the investment market and economic environment. Preferably a CFP or CFA.
• Passes in HKSI Licensing Examination for HKMA RI Type 1, 4, 7 registrations and passes all relevant papers of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination
• Strong self-motivation with good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
• Good sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua and other dialects an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
