We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Investment and Insurance Business Development, Corporate Banking.

Principal responsibilities

• Achieve the BBD and BBC Centre’s business targets by driving successful referral cases to BBD WEM RMs or BBC Specialists, and supporting growth in I&I and other cross-selling products through proactive outbound calling and campaign execution.
• Reactivate Investment ETB and activate Investment NTB with clear conversion targets, moving clients from first trade to repeat digital trading and reinforcing regular self-directed trading behaviour.
• Execute segmented outbound calling using tailored call lists and client segments to improve relevance and conversion, with disciplined follow-through and tracking of outcomes.
• Deliver high-impact campaigns end-to-end, ensuring strong message delivery, reinforcement, and consistent follow-through, and partnering with internal stakeholders to improve effectiveness.
• Assist in promoting Centre penetration by systematically engaging targeted customer lists and converting low-activity customers into active investors.
• Assist in promoting China Nexus by identifying relevant customer opportunities and referring onwards for appropriate wealth engagement and servicing.
• Manage assigned lead lists and maintain a structured pipeline, prioritizing customers based on propensity, needs and campaign objectives.
• Ensure that all calling activities, referrals and promotions fillfulled regulatory requirements.
• Report to BBC Centre Manager and I&I Department Head

Requirements

• HKDSE/HKCEE or equivalent
• Good knowledge of investment products and strong technical competency with good knowledge of the investment market and economic environment. Preferably a CFP or CFA.
• Passes in HKSI Licensing Examination for HKMA RI Type 1, 4, 7 registrations and passes all relevant papers of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination
• Strong self-motivation with good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
• Good sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua and other dialects an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
