Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation of Tiffany’s New York Bar in accordance with IHG brand standards, hotel policies, luxury service expectations and established operating procedures.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the bar team to deliver personalised guest experiences, with strong focus on guest recognition, regular guest engagement and upselling.
  • Drive revenue performance through beverage promotions, whisky programming, event activations, upselling initiatives and effective cost control.
  • Develop and strengthen the bar’s whisky programme, including whisky tastings, whisky flights, whisky-pairing experiences, rare whisky promotions and guest education.
  • Maintain and enhance the beverage offering, with focus on whisky, cocktails, spirits, wine and non-alcoholic selections, ensuring product quality, relevance and profitability.
  • Plan and execute small to medium scale events, including masterclasses, wine / whisky dinners, guest bartender programmes and themed promotions; support the Hong Kong Whisky Festival and related whisky events.
  • Work closely with Marketing Communications, Sales, Culinary, Banquet and other departments to maximise exposure, guest referrals and event opportunities.
  • Ensure service standards, product knowledge, inventory control, hygiene, responsible alcohol service and licensing requirements are consistently maintained.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Management or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in hotel bars, cocktail bars, whisky bars or premium restaurant/bar operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong whisky knowledge is essential, including Scotch, Japanese, American and other world whiskies, with the ability to conduct tastings and recommend whisky confidently.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, mixology, spirits, wine and current bar trends.
  • Experience in organising small to medium scale events, such as masterclasses, wine / whisky dinners, whisky promotions or bar-related events.
  • Experience in supporting large-scale whisky or beverage events, such as whisky festivals, will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue, manage beverage cost, lead promotions, train the team and achieve guest satisfaction targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; guest-oriented, hands-on and passionate about delivering a luxury bar and whisky experience.
