Head of Direct Channels

Job Purpose:

In charge of Direct Channels overall Sales & Services operation management and responsible for all aspects concerning the development, productivity, cost efficiency including human resources, system enhancement/technology and integration with other distribution channels/business units.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Oversee & manage the overall Direct Channels business & operations with components of Contact Centre, Telemarketing, Wealth Management Service, Bancasurrance, and Cross Border + GBA Service & Sales Support
• Reinforce strong organizational structure, measurement tools & procedures to achieve Sales & Services Goal
• Develop strategies on formation of departmental resources through comprehensive recruitment process, people/career development & attractive remuneration system to attract market talent to strengthen capabilities
• Develop business plan, resources plan and budget for achieving departmental goal contributing to business bottom-line
• Participate in & contribute to on-going operations / technology enhancements and product development and ensure in line with corporate strategy
• Manage Direct Channels business activities to ensure smooth co-operation with key businesses & operational units
• Enhance Direct Channels functions across the Bank to maximize its Sales & Services capabilities
• Ensure Direct Channels in fulfilling Bank wide compliance requirements of internal guidelines, legal and regulatory bodies.
• Manage ongoing career development for Direct Channels to achieve best productivity

Incumbent Requirements:

• University   Degree   holder   with   minimum   15 years’ experience in business operations, sales & customer services management, and at least 10 years at retail banking operation management, or lower academic qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience
• Strong sense of direct channels operations
• Sales & Service oriented profile
• Excellent in leadership & people management skills
• Possess insurance (IIQE 1,2,3) & investment license (Papers 1,7,8) is preferable
• Professional qualification of ECF on Retail Wealth Management is preferable
