Senior Officer (Maintenance - Building Service) Shopping Arcades

The Job

• Solve technical problems and handle major repair and maintenance works related to building services installations.
• Prepare designs, budgets, cost estimates, drawings, specifications and tender documents for major improvement works for management approval.
• Inspect, monitor and supervise both in-house and outsourced day-to-day maintenance and repair works.
• Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and maintenance methodologies.
• Monitor the progress of major improvement works and supervise site activities to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultants, contractors, utility companies, Government departments and other relevant parties regarding maintenance and project works in shopping arcades.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of consultants and contractors.

The Person

• Holder of a Higher Certificate in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Possession of a Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker (Grade B) is preferred, while a Grade C Licence will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in building services maintenance gained in shopping arcades.
• Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and statutory requirements.
• Good technical knowledge of building services systems, maintenance practices and knowledge.
