Cashier Clerk

Lane Crawford is an internationally renowned luxury department store with over 175 years of success, delivering an exceptional and eclectic product curation with dynamic Asian spirit and values. As a Cashier Clerk, you will work at the back office and help to ensure accurate sales transactions.

The Role

• Provide the cashiering service, including POS terminal floats, POS credit card settlement reports checking, daily cashier closings, currency exchange and handling cheques from customers.
• Evaluate unusual sales transaction on reports and ensure validity of transactions
• Prepare cash report including daily cash received and money to be banked
• Transfer foreign currency bank note and traveller cheque into banks with assistance of the appointed foreign currency exchange agent daily
• Set up credit card terminals and utilities for road show / trunk show events
• Prepare LC electronic gift card to corporate customers
• Issue electronic gift card at POS terminals
• Process refunds for e-business transactions

The Ideal Candidate

• At least 2 years of Cashier experience
• Able to work in shift duties
• Experience working as Cashier at retail stores
• Good knowledge of Sales Audit at frontline operations is a plus
• Good Excel skills on daily POS/ Credit Card settlement
