Manager, Securities Settlement

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily settlement and corporate actions for cash equities including HK and US stock markets
• Manage the settlement and corporate actions for investment products, such as bond, ELN and ELI
• Manage fund transfer between correspondent banks by approving instructions and liaising with related parties
• Liaise with external counterparties and internal departments to resolve any trade mismatch, failed settlement, reconciliation break or exceptional case.
• Participate in system enhancements by providing user requirements and reviewing UAT results
• Optimize and streamline procedures to increase the efficiency and control
• Review relevant internal documents including guidelines and procedure manuals
• Perform any ad-hoc duty and project as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree holder in related disciplines, such as finance, accounting or business
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in securities operations is preferred
• Sound knowledge in HK and US stock markets is an advantage
• Familiar with CCASS operations is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
• Attention to details, responsible, independent and self-motivated
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Deputy Manager, Securities Settlement.
