About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Front Office in Hong Kong, the House Manager is responsible for the smooth miming and reputation of the hotel and to make decisions in the interests of the business in the absence of the General Manager Hotel Manager. The House Manager reports to the Director of Rooms.

As House Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• To assist Director of Front Office Operations in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department 
• Observes and ensures that all colleagues are performing their duties in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures 
• Assist all departments with any service lapses that may arise 
• Empowered to make decisions in the best interest of the hotel from a sound understanding of how decisions are made, ensuring consistency 
• Achieve maximum guest satisfaction and adhere to the quality standards required by the hotel 

As House Manager, we expect from you: 

• 5 years of Front Office Operations with at least 1 year at supervisory/management level 
• Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken in English and Chinese 
• Superior guest resolution and problem solving abilities are required 
• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required
