Manager/Assistant Vice President-Cash Management Team (Transaction Banking )

About the role

This role involves managing cash management products and services within a financial services environment. You will define strategies and positioning for cash management offerings, develop and execute product and pricing strategies to drive deposit growth and market share, and ensure clear communication of product capabilities across customer touchpoints including relationship managers, sales, and client management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor development of cash management projects and ensure smoothness of progress with in-time delivery
• Define strategies and positioning for cash management products & services, coordinating with stakeholders
• Develop and execute product/pricing strategy to garner new deposits and achieve target growth in market share
• Ensure clear understanding of product capabilities across various customer touch-points, including relationship managers, sales, and client management through proactive communication and training programs
• Address day to day business process matters such as technical support, operational issues, client servicing support, legal documentation
• Support origination efforts for liabilities related deals by closely working with sales, implementation and relationship managers
• Act as back-up for the liquidity management product manager, to drive commercialization and support sales & RMs in deals when required
• Carry out data analytics to identify leads for growing operating balances and enhance cross-sell through data-driven operating model
• Occasional business travel is required

About you

• At least 3 years or above working experience in financial services or E-commerce services, and familiar with market developments
• Degree holder or above in Finance, Computer Science or relevant education background
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to identify trends, make business conclusions and provide actionable insights from data
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build cooperative working relationships with stakeholders and effectively convey information
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and strong organizational skills
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills with good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Knowledge and working experiences of cash management products/services and transaction banking related would be advantageous
• Self-initiative, able to work independently and under pressure
• Good team player, energetic, self-motivated with good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Openness to new ideas and flexible in approach; enthusiastic about contributing to product improvements and supporting the development of new product concepts in a collaborative environment
