Hong Kong Parkview is inviting high calibre applicants for the following position:-

Pastry Chef

Responsibilities:

• Lead the pastry team of 4 and assist to ensure the smooth operation of Pastry section.
• Be responsible for the pastry supply for the restaurants and small to large scale banquet and buffet functions.
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistency according to recipes and company's standards.
• Assist to keep aware of up-to-date F&B trends on the products and the use of equipment and ingredients.
• Achieve excellence by training and coaching team members for continuous product enhancement.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and handling of administrative work, such as food ordering and staff roster.
• Respect the instructions and safety guidelines in use of equipment and ensure workplace cleanliness and food hygiene.

Requirements:

• Certificate in food and beverage / hospitality management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international class hotel.
• Computer knowledgeable.
• Candidates with less experience would be considered as the position of Assistant Pastry Chef.
