Senior Officer, Business Risk & Control (Operational Risk)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Company’s Operational Risk (“OR”) Framework is duly implemented
• Assist in providing advice to functions and business units on Key Control Self-Assessments (“KCSAs”) and Key Risk Indicator (“KRIs”), to ensure that operational risk profile of the Company is properly identified, measured and assessed
• Identify and report control weaknesses, exceptions and inherent risks to management in a timely manner
• Review operational risk incident reports and liaise with relevant parties to ensure proper mitigation actions are in place
• Conduct investigations into customer complaints, identify root causes and assist business units in preparing responses
• Assist to coordinate the Operational Risk Committee (“ORC”) meeting on a monthly basis, including preparation of agenda and minutes
• Prepare monthly compliance and OR reports, and update OR related policy and procedures

Requirements

• University degree holder in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration or related disciplines
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Compliance / Operational Risk Management / Complaint Handling / Internal Audit of Financial Institution, preferably in Consumer Banking / Consumer Finance
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and Chinese word processing
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
• Fresh graduates will also be considered
