About the Role

As a Commis I - Indian Cuisine, you will be focusing on delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring timely, courteous and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present food in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and hygiene requirements.
• Manage daily food requisitions and support inventory and cost control processes.
• Assist Senior Chefs with menu development, recipe creation, and promotional activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment, ensuring proper use and upkeep of equipment and utensils.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

About You

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in reputable Hotels or restaurants, including minimum 2 years in a similar position.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and Southeast Asian cuisine; expertise in either cuisine would be an advantage.
• Sound understanding of kitchen operations, including food quality standards, cost control, procurement, HACCP, workplace safety, and team management.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
