Vice President/Assistant Vice President, Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory financial reports, banking returns, surveys and disclosures in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure all the banking returns and regulatory reports are submitted timely and accurately
• Ensure all the banking returns and surveys are compliant with the instructions and guidelines set by HKMA
• Monitor and regular review of internal policies and regulatory disclosure requirements
• Participate in process improvement / system enhancement projects to streamline the reporting process
• Assist in system implementation projects related to banking returns and other adhoc tasks
• Prepare financial information as requested by auditors
• Respond promptly to inquiries from regulators and internal stakeholders

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
• Qualified Accountant with minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in banking industry
• Sound knowledge in banking products, accounting standards, financial control framework and regulatory reporting requirements
• Hands-on experience in preparation of statutory banking returns, capital reporting and regulatory disclosure
• Meticulous, organized with strong analytical skills and control sense
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office applications and knowledge of VBA an added advantage
