Assistant Bar Manager

Job Description:

• Direct floor and bar operations during service, setting high standards for speed, quality, and hospitality.
• Assist to hire, train, and mentor bartenders, and floor staff to hone their craft and customer service skills.
• Assist with stock takes, waste control, supplier communications, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Bar Manager on seasonal menu changes, cocktail creation, and special events.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and alcohol licensing regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of bar experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or shift-lead role.
• Deep understanding of spirits, classic cocktails, wine, and craft beer service.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Understanding of bar inventory management and labor cost control.
