Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Specialist to drive the growth of our Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance business in Hong Kong.  Focused on large Chinese and local corporates, this role serves as a dedicated Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance specialist, partnering closely with Coverage teams to originate, structure, and deliver tailored trade and working capital solutions.

The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in trade finance & supply chain finance products, client advisory, solution structuring and relationship management, with the ability to identify opportunities from clients’ trade flows, supply chain ecosystem, and international strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive trade finance revenue growth by deepening existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the target corporate segments. 

• Partner closely with Coverage Teams to develop client strategies and deliver comprehensive trade and working capital solutions. 

• Manage and grow an assigned client portfolio, with accountability for revenue generation, utilization, and wallet share expansion.

• Lead client engagements, solution presentation, deal structuring discussion, and transaction execution.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and compliant solution delivery. 

• Champion continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging client feedback, market intelligence, and portfolio insights to enhance product capabilities and service excellence.

• Monitor market developments and industry trends to provide relevant insights and advisory support to clients.

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk governance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant banking experience in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance. 

• Proven track record in managing and developing relationships with large Chinese and local corporates. 

• Strong expertise in trade finance products, supply chain finance solutions, trade documentations, and work capital management. 

• Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, and execute complex trade and working capital financing transactions.

• Excellent client management, business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Sound knowledge of trade flows between Hong Kong, Mainland China, and regional markets.

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and risk awareness

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across multi-stakeholders.
