Clinical Psychologist (Ref: CPS – CP)

Clinical Psychological Services

Responsibilities:

1. To provide psychological support services including clinical assessment, intervention and treatment for individuals with psychiatric disorders or autistic spectrum or their families; and clinical groups and programmes;
2. To provide clinical supervision and case consultation for the professional/ para-professional staff;
3. To conduct professional training for frontline professionals and practitioners working with persons with mental health problems or public education;
4. To design, develop adapt and evaluate psychological assessment tools, intervention protocols and treatment programmes;
5. To develop and deliver psycho-educational programmes, workshops, seminars, and talks for service users, carers, the general public, community groups, schools, corporations, organizations, and professional audience;
6. To develop and provide content on public education materials, publications, social media platforms, and other communication channels to promote mental health and holistic well-being;
7. To participate in other kinds of services provided, such as service development, research and programme evaluation; and
8. To perform ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor(s).

Requirements:

1. Master Degree or above in Clinical Psychology from a local university, or equivalent;
2. A member of the Hong Kong Institute of Clinical Psychologists is preferred;
3. Possession of recognized certification in Mindfulness Teacher Certification and/or qualifications as a Low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LICBT) Supervisor will be an advantage;
4. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; 
5. Be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team, independent, flexible, innovative and dynamic with good interpersonal skills;
6. Be able to work under pressure and handle high volume and spectrum of work; and
7. Embrace person-centered practice with honest and collaborative manner.
