About the role:

We're looking for a passionate and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager – Event Operations to help deliver exceptional event and dining experiences for our Members. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Event Planning team, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of private events, dining functions, and member experiences, ensuring seamless operations and outstanding service standards.

This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys leading teams on the floor, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences through exceptional food, beverage, and event service.

What you need to have:

  • Experience in restaurant operations, event operations, hospitality, or private club environments, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with a hands-on management approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for member and guest engagement.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of spoken and written English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.

What you will do:

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing event operations, ensuring seamless execution from setup to event completion. 
  • Work closely with the Event Planning, Culinary, and Bar teams to deliver exceptional food, beverage, and service experiences.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the service team through training, briefings, and hands-on operational support.
  • Build strong relationships with Members, proactively gathering feedback and ensuring a personalised experience.
  • Manage staffing, operational resources, and on-site event logistics while maintaining service excellence during busy periods.
