IT Business Analyst (Payment Systems) - Information Technology Department

Responsibilities:

• Business & System Analysis: Understand and explain complex business processes, systems, and tools, with a specific focus on the business logic analysis of Hong Kong payment systems (e.g.FPS, CHATS, SWIFT); deeply understand function and impact of payment system and related system;
• Cross-Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between business users and technical developers to ensure that business requirements for payment systems and other related systems are well-defined and accurately implemented;
• Project Advancement & Risk Management: Assist in the concrete implementation and delivery of projects; proactively manage potential risks throughout the project development lifecycle, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures when necessary;
• Testing & Version Management: Responsible for system testing and product version management;

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;
• HKIB banking professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) preferred;
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in system development and implementation, with at least 2 years in business analysis or system analysis role, and a proven track record in business requirement discussions and documentation;
• Familiar with the local financial and payment systems in Hong Kong; proficient in the operational workflows and development of FPS, CHATS, and SWIFT systems;
• Possess hands-on project development, system maintenance, system analysis experience in Linux environments and Oracle DB;
• Solid experience in handling tasks and documentation in the full SDLC, system testing (SIT & UAT), and Version Control Management;
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills; proven analytical skills in writing the business requirement document and functional specification document;
• Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure;
• Well-versed written and verbal English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin).
