Serving as the primary liaison between customers and the event operations team, you will provide direction and oversight during meetings and banquet functions. You will proactively address guests’ needs, suggest alternatives, and work closely with group and catering clients.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Manage all assigned group and event bookings from contract handover to successful completion.
  • Organize and facilitate internal and external planning meetings in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Prepare accurate BEOs for all events held in the Ballroom and the Gallery.
  • Host pre-conference meetings with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and real-time troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate logistical requirements, including setup, decor, and audio-visual equipment for weddings and catering events.
  • Source and manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and control event budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with the F&B and Culinary teams on tailored menu and beverage package agreements.
  • Partner with event organizers to finalize details, provide professional advice on room configurations, and manage accurate daily billing reviews.
  • Maintain effective communication across internal departments to facilitate seamless event execution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify areas for future improvement.

What we need from you

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sizeable luxury hotel event planning and management, with at least 2 years of direct supervisory experience over a sales or catering team
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or equivalent.
