Duty Engineer (5 days work)

Responsibilities:

• To supervise Engineering staff performing their shift duty and ensure it is in compliance with established guidelines, procedures and schedule
• Ensure every Work Request received to be followed up in a timely manner
• Ensure any discovered problem and staff feedbacks are reported to superiors, and also propose solution as appropriate
• To identify hazards and potential safety concerns and rectify problems promptly
• To provide training guidance or coaching to Engineering staffs as required
• Maintain work areas are under a neat, tidy, clean and healthy environment

Requirements:

• High diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional certificate
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience with at least 1 year at Duty Engineer position
• Holder of Certificate for Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B or above)
• Holder of Competence in Safe Working in Confined Space and Safe Use of Mobile Aluminum Tower Certificate will be an advantage
• Solid experience in overall hotel maintenance work operations and knowledge of emergency work procedures
• Good team player with positive attitude, strong organizational and leadership skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
