Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily morning market briefings notes to support internal investment decision-making and client communication
  • Manage and ensure timely and accurate order placement and execution
  • Support portfolio rebalancing activities in alignment with the Company’s investment strategy and risk parameters
  • Support Business teams with investment analysis requests, providing data and preparing data-driven inputs/recommendation
  • Participate in client meetings with Business teams to support investment product pitching
  • Support new client onboarding process and maintain engagement with clients
  • Track market developments, earnings announcements, and sector trends to identify actionable insights for investment team
  • Distribute market commentary, research highlights, and daily summaries to keep clients informed and engaged
  • Coordinate with research, trading, and business teams to synthesize market intelligence and contribute to investment ideas
  • Liaise with operations, compliance, and settlement teams to ensure accurate trade processing and timely query resolution
  • Monitor trade allocations, confirmations, and adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements, escalating issues where necessary
  • Support day-to-day activities including ad hoc request on datasets, searches and evaluation of company background materials
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by management / supervisor


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in equity research experience
  • Holder of SFC license RA 1 or 9 with sound knowledge of the SFO and applicable SFC regulatory requirements/guidelines
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg) and Microsoft Excel; programming skills for analytics/tools are an advantage
  • Good knowledge in AI Prompts
  • Strong understanding of global markets, trading mechanics, and asset management
  • Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask under pressure; team player with proactive attitude
  • Good command of both English & Chinese, written and spoken
