About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong within Food & Beverage Service Department in Hong Kong, the Host/Hostess are responsible for maintaining and upholding corporate standards at all times. Host/Hostess report to the Restaurant Manager.

As Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage reservations and table arrangement
• Act as Restaurant Ambassador by greeting and seating guests in a warm and professional manner
• Handle guests' enquiries by phone or email following hotel's standards and procedures
• Provide active support to the team including but not limited to updating menus and guests' records
• Achieve high level of customer satisfaction by engaging with guests proactively, being attentive to their needs and response timely throughout the dining experience
• Perform other reasonable tasks assigned by management

As Host/Hostess, we expect from you:

• Minimum 1 year experience in hotel or F&B industry
• A team player who is pleasant, confident, customer-focused with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage
• Good computer literacy with hands-on experience is preferred
