Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance & Performance Management

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to prepare comprehensive financial management information and analysis for the Bank's performance measurement by business units, branches, products for regular management meeting, business review and board meetings.
• Develop management accounting models and comprehensive business performance reports for tracking the progress of business activities and provide on-going assessment on business initiatives.
• Provide support to Expenses Control Committee including being the secretary to review applications, prepare minutes and follow up on the post meeting actions.
• Set targets, perform review and regular tracking on the Bank's, business units' and departments' balanced scorecard for performance appraisals.
• Coordinate the financial budget process for the Bank
• Lead various system development and enhancement projects to comply with internal policies and improve process efficiency.
• Provide support and advisory services on accounting and finance related matters to all business and support units.
• Oversee and manage the team operations and deliverables.
• Handle any ad-hoc assignments as requested

Requirements

• University graduate in in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration or related disciplines;
• Minimum 15 years of experience in banking industry, including at least 10 years in managerial role
• Familiar with relevant regulatory requirements such as HKFRSs issued by HKICPA
• General understanding on the banking industry and products/services.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Good interpersonal skills and detail-minded
• Conversant with MS Excel with VBA skills, accounting and reporting system, in particular Oracle Financials and SAP
