Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, elevators, and other critical infrastructure.
Lead, train, and supervise the engineering team, ensuring they deliver high-quality work and adhere to safety protocols.
Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with local regulations, including fire safety codes, building codes, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, or installations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
Monitor and optimize energy consumption across the property to reduce costs and promote sustainability initiatives.
Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related emergencies and ensure swift resolution to minimize impact on guests and operations.
Work closely with other departments to resolve maintenance issues that affect guest experience.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualifications.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in engineering or maintenance roles within the hospitality industry.
Proven leadership experience in managing teams and hotel maintenance operations.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and building management systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
