About the Job
The Hong Kong Country Club is embarking on a capital project to modernize and redevelop its existing squash court building by turning it into a multipurpose sports annex, with demolition to commence in early 2027 and an expected completion date in late 2029. The Club is looking for a Project Manager to act as the critical bridge between the membership, governing committees, management, team of appointed consultants (architect, quantity surveyor, m&e engineer, and structural engineer), and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance: Act as the primary liaison to lead stakeholder meetings and present monthly progress reports to committees and Club members.
Procurement & Tendering: Partner with the Lead Consultant and QS to compile robust tender packages, analyze incoming bids, and advise on contract awards.
Financial Control: Implement rigorous budget monitoring frameworks and approval workflows to minimize variation orders.
Master Planning & Schedule: Maintain a comprehensive, critical-path master plan to proactively mitigate project risks and keep execution strictly on track.
Operational Continuity: Oversee construction methodologies to minimize disruption to active Club operations while integrating ancillary projects.
Strategic Integration: Ensure current design logic and execution seamlessly accommodate potential future expansion plans.
