About the role:
At Carlyle & Co., every event is an opportunity to create unforgettable moments. As our Event Operations Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of an exciting portfolio of private events, member experiences, brand activations, pop-ups and bespoke celebrations across the Club.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage, Culinary, Events Planning, Membership and Marketing teams, you will ensure every event is executed seamlessly, from planning and set-up, to service delivery and post-event evaluation. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines operational excellence, commercial acumen and a passion for hospitality to create exceptional experiences for our Members and guests.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in event operations, hospitality or Food & Beverage management, with a strong track record in delivering premium events and guest experiences.
- Strong leadership, people management and coaching skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, with a passion for member and guest engagement.
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Commercially minded with experience managing manpower, budgets, operational resources and productivity targets.
- Strong knowledge of event operations, food & beverage service and luxury hospitality standards; proficiency in English is essential.
What you will do:
- Lead the seamless execution of all private events, member events, brand activations and special functions across the Club.
- Partner with departments team to ensure exceptional event delivery from planning through execution.
- Drive outstanding member and guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of service, quality and operational excellence.
- Oversee event operations, including staffing, venue readiness, equipment, AV requirements and service flow across multiple event spaces.
- Develop, implement and maintain event operating procedures, while monitoring performance, costs and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Train, coach and inspire the events operations team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration and world-class hospitality.
- Less experience will also be considered as Assistant Manager.
