Project Operations Manager

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead and deliver hotel projects and enhancement initiatives from planning through to completion
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Group standards and timelines
  • Partner with Engineering and operational teams to support seamless implementation within an operating hotel environment
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, proactively identifying risks and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate across technical functions and ensure compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards
  • Liaise with relevant authorities on licensing and statutory requirements to ensure timely approvals
  • Drive the use of project management tools and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and reporting
  • Uphold The Peninsula Hong Kong’s standards, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations during project execution

 

General Requirements:

  • Degree in Project Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years’ project management experience, preferably in hospitality, property development, or related industries
  • Sound knowledge of building services, with a basic understanding of licensing and statutory requirements
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proactive and solutions-driven, with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Familiarity with project management tools and digital platforms is an advantage
  • This role aligns with an Assistant Manager level within our internal grading structure
