We’re searching for a Housekeeper Supervisor to ensure all aspects of housekeeping are befitting of our reputation for delivering genuinely memorable experiences to our guests.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:
- Responsible for supervising the activities of room attendants and cleaners to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
- To release the checkout rooms to Reception as early as possible in good condition
- To check all occupied guest rooms making sure the cleanliness, orderliness, tidiness and supplies are up to the standard set up by the hotel
- To ensure all guest room linen and supplies are stocked and stored properly
- To conduct the inventory of all mini-bar items and ensure the records of consumption requisition are properly filled out
- To report lost and found items and handover to Housekeeping office
- To handle guest complaints, attend to guest requests immediately and report to Managers & Department head
- To examine the guest rooms and determine the need for repairs and general cleaning, etc. and to make the appropriate recommendations to Department Head
- To prepare different reports, maintenance orders and coordinate with other departments
- To provide the necessary training and supervision for room attendants and cleaners to keep rooms, corridors, service areas and public area in proper condition and provide the best possible service
- To coach and aware of the working safety for Room Attendant, and ensure they follow the safety procedures
- To perform duties as assigned by Department Head
What we need from you
- Completed Secondary School Education or DSE
- 5 years in Housekeeping service, particularly in the role of room attendant
- Good communication skills, strong leadership skills, computer skills are preferred
- Good command of Cantonese, knowledge in English and Mandarin is preferable
