We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Sales Executive to provide essential administrative support to our Event Sales Team and contribute to the overall success of the sales department. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and is eager to learn and grow within the sales field.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Providing daily administrative support to the Events Sales Team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, site visits and preparing reports.
- Handling general office duties, such as answering phones, processing mail, and ordering supplies.
- Qualifying incoming sales inquiries and routing them to the appropriate sales team member in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation of event proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents.
- Coordinating event logistics, including vendor communication, venue arrangements, and catering coordination assigned by Event Sales Team.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of sales events and promotional activities.
- Preparing and distributing event-related materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Processing event orders and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer information in relevant systems e.g. Opera, Delphi, etc.
- Coordinating travel arrangements for the sales team.
- Collaborating effectively with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Monitoring market trends and track competitor activity to support the sales team members in their sales activities.
What we need from you
- A bachelor’s degree in hotel management, business administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 year's experience in a hotel sales team is preferred.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in using Opera is a plus.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must, speaking and writing; speak any other languages is an advantage.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Event Sales Coordinator
