Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within F&B Service Division in Hong Kong, the Coffee Experience Manager will be responsible for delivering an elevated coffee and tea experience, supported by exceptional product knowledge and advanced technical expertise. The Coffee Experience Manager reports to the Assistant F&B Project Manager.
As Coffee Experience Manager - The Communal, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Maintain professional grooming, hygiene, and punctuality at all times.
- Attend daily briefings, training, and support cross-department operations.
- Assist in overall hotel functions and handle emergencies professionally.
- Ensure full FOH and BOH readiness, including mise en place and station setup.
- Prepare and maintain coffee/tea stations, equipment, and stock levels.
- Follow HACCP standards and ensure cleanliness and hygiene consistently.
- Take ownership of beverage operations and deliver smooth service.
- Provide warm, personalised guest service and anticipate guest needs.
- Accurately take orders using POS and promote upselling opportunities.
- Prepare and serve beverages to brand standards with consistent quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation during service and handle guest feedback.
- Demonstrate advanced barista skills, including coffee preparation, latte art, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to recipes, beverage quality, and brand standards.
- Possess strong product knowledge and engage guests with recommendations.
- Support team development through training, coaching, and maintaining service excellence.
- Perform any other duties as required by your department head from time to time
As Coffee Experience Manager, we expect from you:
- Minimum 4 years’ working experience in similar capacity, preferably in luxury hotel
- Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service
- Pleasant, presentable, service -oriented and good supervision skills
- Proficient in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage
As Coffee Experience Manager - The Communal, we expect from you:
- With at least 4 years’ experience in F&B or hotel industry
- Experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants is preferred
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service
- Pleasant, presentable, service -oriented and good supervision skills
- Proficient in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage
