Assistant Vice President, Data Analytics

How you succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to extract insights from complex data sets and communicate those insights effectively to stakeholders. You'll work closely with business users to understand their needs and develop reports and dashboards that meet those needs. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence.

What you will be doing:

• Independently drive data analytics initiatives, including business analysis, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making

• Partner closely with regional and in-country stakeholders (Business Units, Product Teams, Risk, etc.) to identify business growth opportunities and enhance risk controls

• Design, develop, and automate interactive dashboards and MIS reports (Customer, Product, and Performance) through scripting and data visualization tools

• Build and scale data-driven solutions that improve efficiency through process automation and advanced analytics techniques

• Collaborate with regional data teams to share best practices and promote consistency in analytics approach and delivery

• Support the design, validation, and ongoing enhancement of in-country data architecture, ensuring strong foundations for analytics and reporting

• Work with stakeholders to identify new and incremental data sources, and explore innovative use cases to unlock business value

• Act as a key analytics advisor, translating data insights into actionable business recommendations

What are we looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with minimum 5 years’ experience in data analytics or related fields

• Strong expertise in:

  • Data analytics, data engineering and data mining

  • Process automation and analytics solution development

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and relational databases, with hands-on experience in building analytical applications and automated reporting

• Solid experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and interactive dashboard design

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights

• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with proven ability to engage senior stakeholders

• Experience in applying AI / machine learning tools in business analytics is an advantage

• Self-motivated, independent, hands-on, and passionate about leveraging data to drive impact.
